In commercial real estate management, you will have the opportunity to work in a broad range of disciplines including tenant relations, lease interpretation, risk management, security, mechanical systems, staff supervision, taxation, procurement, vendor management, leadership development, finance, banking, accounting, construction and GREEN building practices. Transferable Skills from Other Careers
People with experience from related industries such as resort/hotel management, multi-family property management, financial services, banking, or real estate agency leasing often make a successful transition to this profession. Even if you don’t have the degree or related experience, if you do have strong people skills, are entrepreneurial, a resourceful problem-solver, and like that no two days are the same, commercial real estate is the career for you.

Student Membership
Joining BOMA St. Louis as a student member helps you begin your career in the challenging and engaging world of commercial real estate before you even graduate. You will receive notifications of job openings from BOMA St. Louis member companies in fields such as Business Management, Sales, Finance & Accounting, and Engineering. You will be able to attend three (3) BOMA luncheon events at no additional charge (approximately $90 value) and participate in the BOMA Apprentice Program.
