Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

History of BOMA's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee

In June 2020, BOMA St. Louis joined the chorus of voices from across the country in condemning racism in all its forms. BOMA pledged to work to be an association of growth, awareness, and acceptance. To that end, BOMA created a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Task Force, which has created a year-long programming plan to help raise awareness and create dialogue among our members.

The DEI Committee’s current mission is: To promote and cultivate a diverse commercial real estate workforce at all levels that is a reflection of the communities where we reside through talent recruitment, education and training, content development and promotion, and by leading on industry diversity and inclusion initiatives with member companies and related groups.
